Eos Announces Schedule Change Between London and New York; Brings Third Aircraft Into Service
The First Single-Class Premium Airline Responds to Customer Demand with Flight Schedule Adjustment
PURCHASE, NY, November 21, 2005 - Eos, the first single-class, premium transatlantic airline, will change its flight schedule from London Stansted Airport to New York’s JFK Airport. Effective December 1, 2005, the Eos flight schedule will move the 10:30 a.m. London Stansted departure to 6:10 p.m., resulting in an arrival to JFK of 9:09 p.m. the same day.
This change is a direct response to customer demand, as Eos business travelers have voiced their preference for an evening flight leaving London Stansted to better meet their challenging travel needs. The evening London Stansted departure became possible only because Eos was able to accelerate the launch of its third aircraft, originally slated for January.
“In less than five weeks of service, the enthusiasm of our guests to Eos’ unique approach to business travel has been nothing short of spectacular,” said David Spurlock, founder and chief executive officer of Eos. “Our London-bound business executives have enjoyed moving quickly through London Stansted airport, and arriving in short order to their destination in the City by about 9 am. With our schedule change, our guests can now work nearly a full day and arrive in New York in the early evening.”
Beginning Dec. 1, eastbound flights depart New York JFK at 7:05 p.m. and arrive London Stansted at 7:30 a.m.; westbound flights depart London Stansted at 6:10 p.m. and arrive New York JFK at 9:09 p.m. the same day.
